As a fan of New York art, you may also want to be aware of Andy Warhol New York City art . Andy Warhol moved to New York City in 1949 from Pittsburgh, PA and made it his home. Andy founded a building which he named "The Factory" in the 1960's which was his studio and where he spent much time with friends including fellow artists, musicians, writers and underground celebrities. Although the location moved many times, its first location was on Lexington Ave. Through out the many moves The Factory was always located in Manhattan. Andy loved New York and you can see the mind of Andy Warhol at work with the stunning images showcased and offered here.

After moving to New York Andy Warhol became successful with a career in magazine illustration and advertising. Soon thereafter Andy quickly became famous for his advertisements and magazine illustrations. One of Warhol's first and most famous subjects was his series of Campbell's Soup can prints.
